Your Travel Companion

Fill seats, not roads.

Charon connects passengers with drivers already commuting the same corridor. We don't add cars to congested roads—we fill the empty seats already in motion.

The Problem

Every morning, millions of cars enter megacities with empty seats. In Metro Manila alone:

2.7M Solo drivers daily
400K Empty seats wasted
3.5h Avg. commute time
16% GDP lost to traffic

This isn't a traffic problem—it's a coordination failure. The infrastructure exists. The seats are there. They're just empty.

The Plan

Charon operates on corridors—well-traveled commute routes where passengers and drivers naturally cluster. Unlike point-to-point ride-hailing that adds vehicles, we match passengers to seats already in motion.

  • Corridor-based matching — Focus on high-density routes, not random point-to-point
  • Curated micro-stops — Safe, predictable pickup points that minimize driver detour
  • Pre-booking by time band — Passengers plan ahead; drivers optimize routes
  • Transparent fares — Clear breakdown before booking, no surge that punishes demand

Global Expansion

The coordination failure is universal. After proving the model in Manila, Charon expands to megacities facing the same challenge:
